No Friday Quick Takes today. Sorry, folks, but due to a confluence of things, I just don’t have it in me this morning. Right now I’m sitting at my desk staring at this screen while my heart is down the road at the Perpetual Adoration Chapel. There is a literal ache in my chest that I know only Our Lord can fill, and it is making achieving any kind of creative focus impossible. Don’t worry, I am not feeling listless or depressed or troubled in any way. Praise God, I am actually feeling rather peaceful and full of His consolation; I am just craving some alone time with Him for prayer, contemplation, and quiet study. Hopefully this coming week will see me put up some new content, but until then, have a blessed and fruitful First Friday and First Sunday of Lent. God bless.
